On this episode of Peachjar Extra Credit, Matt visited Drama Kids of Northwest Houston to learn more about how their organization offers unique and fun-filled drama programs to the children of Northwest Houston.
Drama Kids offers unique and fun-filled drama programs used across the USA and around the world to help children and young adults develop confidence, creative thinking, public speaking skills, self-esteem, acting abilities, leadership and teamwork skills, and much more.
All Drama Kids classes and summer camps utilize a unique, fun, and imaginative, drama curriculum developed over 25 years that ensure all students will fully participate and benefit from each class. All of this is provided by skillful, caring teachers who are fully trained in the Drama Kids program and are focused on providing individualized attention and positive reinforcement too each student.
"What I hear the most when I ask students to write reviews about us is 'I found a place where I belong', and that is truly how I want them to feel safe because if you're not going to feel safe you're never going to open up " said Davila Hernandez, owner of Drama Kids of Northwest Houston. "That is so important, especially with everything that goes around in this world, that these kids feel that they have a place that their voice matters and that they can be heard and not judged."
