Connection. It’s what we do. 

At Peachjar we are connecting communities to resources, parents to districts, and children to out-of-school activities that enable them to succeed in their daily and future lives. We partner with districts and community organizations to strengthen connections. Conferences are special, because there we get to connect with YOU!

We recently were fortunate enough to attend two conferences in St. Louis, Missouri — CGCS Public Relations Executives Meeting and NSPRA National Seminar. 

CGCS

Council of the Great City Schools, CGCS, hosted their 22nd Annual Public Relations Executives Meeting from July 13-15, 2023. We connected with School PR Professionals during the conference and attended a dinner cruise. The weather may have been rough, with storms causing us to remain docked for most of the night,  but the company sure was not!! "It was really cool to get to know and talk to people on a personal level, as opposed to [a typical] vendor–attendee [scenario],” said Peachjar School Account Executive, Rachel DuPont.  Although it was probably one of the shortest dinner cruises on the Mississippi, it proved to be a truly memorable experience. We look forward to all CGCS has to offer next year!

NSPRA

Matthew Jennings really said it best: “The NSPRA 2023 conference in Saint Louis was amazing! It truly was next level and a huge thank you to the conference organizers for putting together something so perfect. This year, the conference once again provided critical and relevant professional development to the largest number of attendees yet! Our team was honored to have the opportunity to network with so many talented professionals at the conference and share our passion for Peachjar and building successful students through stronger communities. We look forward to seeing everyone in Seattle for NSPRA 2024!”

We had such a fun time at NSPRA again this year. We had a blast with everyone who came to hang out with us at Karaoke Night and we really enjoyed chatting and catching up with friends and new faces who stopped by to talk to us at our booth throughout the week.

Now that we have either given you an extreme case of FOMO or allowed you to reminisce on past conference experiences, we leave you with this. Thank you!

Because of you, we left these conferences better than when we got there— and we are so grateful. We are grateful for the community we are building, grateful to the organizers for hosting such edifying events, and grateful to each and every one of you that took the time to stop by— whether that was just to hang out with us, provide your feedback,  or inquire more about what we do. We love what we do, what we are working towards, and who we partner with. Looking forward to next year’s NSPRA and CGCS! (Also, did you see sasquatch is coming to town for NSPRA 2024?)
